Robert J. Matsunaga Creates Historical Civilization in New Fantasy Novel

San Francisco (PRWEB) September 05, 2013 - “A Journey of a Thousand Seasons: Book 1” (published by iUniverse) is a fictional story centered on the main character, Tenashar. Author Robert J. Matsunaga creates a tale of an ancient Earth with a different culture, architecture, politics, arts, languages and sciences. Matsunaga mentions that his book is about “A people who survive many obstacles in their world. A world that is in continuous transition.”

An excerpt from ‘A Journey of a Thousand Seasons’:

“Once the initial excitement of leaving began to wane, the uncertainty and fear made Tenashar feel sick. He still couldn’t understand why it would be best for him to go with only his unusual friends. Wouldn’t a whole group of Senetha—elders and warriors alike—be better able to handle this? So many questions. Why should he, barely a man, be sent to find a solution to the Orbs? He grumbled to himself as he walked. ‘This journey is so stupid. Why am I here? And why am I in the company of monsters?’ Tenashar thought A-amar wasn’t listening, but he saw the wolf-man’s ears perk up.

A voice replied, ‘Are you thinking this is a survival test? You’re wrong to be so worried. The path has been paved for you, but you continue to distrust yourself. Your thinking is small, and you have much to learn.’

Tenashar heard those words, but they weren’t from A-amar. He looked in his bag and saw the Rock was glowing. There was his advice for the journey. It came from a simple rock.”
